Oscar Zambrano is a recording engineer that has worked with
several multi-platinum artists as well as independent films. Since
2002 he has been working in Manhattan as a freelance engineer working
on a variety of genres
from hip hop to rock, jazz, pop, and classical music.
Native to Mexico City, Oscar spent his college years
in Boston at Berklee College of Music where
he received a degree in Music Production and Sound Engineering, and
a minor in film scoring and composition.
While at Berklee
he was part of several jazz ensembles as well as the Berklee Clarinet Choir.
Mr. Zambrano developed his recording, mixing and mastering skills while working at M-Works Mastering,
in Boston, and Sound on Sound Recording (now Legacy Studios) in New York City.
In 2005 Oscar and his long-time friend Jorge Castellanos created Zampol Productions with the goal of offering clients their knowledge and talents in one affordable package that combines the finest artistry and technology.
Not only is Oscar involved in music, but he is a dedicated runner/triathlete as well. He is currently training for the Ensenada 1/2 Ironman and the 2006 Berlin Marathon.
